About this blog:
"Filatore" was originally created as a way to track the adventures of an Italian deployment back in 2006 (Filatore=Spinner in Italian). Since then, it's morphed a few times, and after a period of relative dormancy, will document our urban existence over the next year.
The trail to Hite's Cove, along the South Fork of the Merced River, is ablaze with California Poppies (Eschscholzia californica).
